Born from the workshop of a master upholsterer. Rebuilt in metal.
The brand draws from the industrial and creative legacy of LookGroup and its chairman, Ed Burke. His father, Gordon Burke, was a master upholsterer known for material excellence and disciplined craftsmanship. The understanding of tensioned surfaces, texture, and structure remains embedded in Maison Jacquard's approach to woven metal today.

What is Maison Jacquard?
Maison Jacquard is a French design brand producing bespoke woven copper surfaces for architectural specification. Surfaces are applied as wall panels, glass partitions, architectural dividers, window treatments, furniture surfaces, and luxury packaging. Part of the LookGroup ecosystem. Designed in France.
How are the surfaces produced?
Each surface is woven using copper thread. Pattern is produced through thread structure, not printing or surface treatment. The result has tactile depth and light behavior that cannot be replicated by printed or applied finishes. Collections are curated pattern libraries available for specification. Bespoke surfaces are developed to client brief, with motif, color, and finish defined per project.
How do architects and designers specify a project?
The studio is open for project conversations now. Contact via WhatsApp or email with a brief description of the project, application, and timeline. For bespoke projects, the studio responds within 48 hours with a named contact. Sample requests and specification support are available on request.
What is the difference between Jacquard-woven copper and printed metal surface finishes?
Jacquard-woven copper surfaces are produced by weaving copper thread on a loom. The pattern is structural, formed by thread intersection, not by printing or surface coating. The result has tactile depth, light behavior, and durability that applied finishes cannot replicate.
What applications are Maison Jacquard surfaces specified for?
Wall panels, laminated glass partitions, architectural dividers, window treatments, furniture surfaces, and luxury packaging. Surfaces are made to order for each project.
