Maison Jacquard
Metal as Textile.
Woven copper surfaces for architectural specification.
Applied as wall panels, laminated glass partitions, architectural dividers, window treatments, furniture surfaces, and luxury packaging.
The Material
Woven copper for architecture and interiors. Made to order.
Each surface is woven using copper thread. Pattern is produced through thread structure. The looms are Jacquard looms, first built for silk and wool, rebuilt to hold copper thread under tension. What comes off them holds two states at once: the structural permanence of metal and the drape of a woven fabric. Collections are curated pattern libraries available for specification. Bespoke surfaces are developed to client brief, with motif and color defined per project.

The Studio
Born from the workshop of a master upholsterer. Rebuilt in metal.
This is the discipline of the upholsterer: the tension, the repetition, the patience a single surface demands. The material is now copper.
